Around Competitions and Workshops
We know the programs of the next thematic sections of the Torun events of the World Copernican Congress. We encourage you to read more about the Youth Section and the Education Section for Teachers, which will be held on September 15 and 16.
The Youth Section "Popularization of the figure and accomplishments of Nicolaus Copernicus in education" is an event during which three nationwide educational competitions organized as part of the celebration of the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus will be concluded:
- "School of Friends of Copernicus" project;
- Competition for teachers for the scenario of classes on Nicolaus Copernicus;
- National Knowledge Competition on Nicolaus Copernicus.
The section organizers include the City of Torun and the Board of Education in Bydgoszcz.
Admission to the event is free and no registration is required, but you can add this event to your plan to attend the Congress and then browse through them on your created user account. The Education Section for Teachers "Copernicus in the 21st century - workshops on tools useful in modern education and popularization of science" is a series of practical workshops designed for teachers, educators, popularizers of science and students. During the workshop, participants will learn about tools for modern education, including: the use of robots during classes, virtual reality in education, creating board games, preparing an escape room in a box, history in education, online tools in education.
The section's partners are the Robisz.to Association and the Masters of Robotics group.

Participation in the workshops of the World Copernican Congress requires online pre-registration.
